Course Description
This course
provides the necessary information needed by installers and cell techs
to install, commission, and maintain the Powerwave power amplifier
equipment suite. In addition, this course provides all necessary
information needed to properly plan an installation, including power
plant load, heating load, RF power planning, gain block examples, etc.
The course includes the Theory of Operation of each major component in
the Powerwave equipment suite.
Attendees should be familiar with common electrical and RF
terms/concepts such as current draw, dB, Watts, RF gain/loss. This
course is appropriate for installers, field engineers/cell technicians,
performance engineers, equipment engineers, and RF engineers. The course
duration is 3 to 4 hours depending on the base station integration
involved.

will provide a current copy of the training material presented, a copy
of the appropriate System Integration Manual, and any other relevant
training material needed.
